David Toohey, CEO & co-founder of LawMaster, has been an avid Commercial Pilot for over 30 years.

For the past 2 years David has been involved with the Medical Specialist Outreach Assistance Program (MSOAP), a Government initiative aimed to improve access to medical specialist services in rural and remote Australia.

David flys specialist Doctors into areas of Western Queensland such as Barcaldine, Cloncurry, Mt Isa, Longreach, Winton, Blackall, Roma, Mitchell, Charleville, Cunnamulla, St George and Goondiwindi.

David said it is a great honour to be involved with MSOAP, and he is delighted his skills can be used to help people in rural and remote areas of Australia.

“My involvement with MSOAP not only feeds my passion for flying, but it is a way I can give something back to the community,” David said.

Flying into these rural and remote areas of Western Queensland is often successful and enjoyable. The opportunity for locals to see specialist Doctors is priceless. According to David the Dermatologists he flys into Western Queensland are diagnosing malignant melanomas at early stages of development, giving patients the invaluable time they need to seek treatment before it is too late.

According to the Department of Health and Ageing, the MSOAP provides more than 1,375 specialist services annually to rural and remote communities.

Recent additional funding from the Government will provide opportunities for new and expanded MSOAP services, and reduce waiting lists for people in rural and remote communities to obtain treatment.

We would recommend that you run a trial End of Year on your Training database to avoid errors on the Production database.

INTEGRATION OF THE LAWMASTER DIARY WITH MICROSOFT OUTLOOK DIARY – this means your LawMaster diary is automatically copied to the Outlook diary and vice-versa. This new function enables diaries to be matter related in LawMaster whilst the user has access to all the Outlook ‘smart tools’ such as reminders and meeting invitations.

COMMUNICATION VIA SMS – the ability to communicate with clients and entities via SMS is an invaluable and unique tool. This could come in handy to remind people about many things, such as appointments and payments.

DIGITAL SIGNATURES – with this added functionality, you can now digitally sign a document when using Word 2007.

Kevin Day - Director of Business Development

Livening up LawMaster’s office is our newly appointed Director of Business Development, Kevin Day.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta Canada, Kevin swapped the mountains for the beach, and has called Australia home for the past 8 years.

Kevin brings a diversity of experience to LawMaster having developed his business acumen through careers in pharmaceuticals and advertising. He is now focused on expanding LawMaster’s loyal client base through innovative sales and marketing initiatives.
